Good news, we fineley got out of the cold snap. I didnt post last week as I stayed home, it was twenty below and I didnt feal like another frezzing trip. This weekend I was thinking of going to Kenai Lake but the forcast was for a blizzerd through there, and there was an avelanch at mile 96 of the seward hwy that killed two people. So I changed my plans and went up the Glenn hwy for some hunting. It was cooler there onley five and a small brezze but it was nice. I got five rabitts and had a few strang things happend. One thing that was strange was the first rabbit that I saw I shot. I watched it fall over. It looked like it was dead. I stoped and unloaded my shot gun before I walked into the brush. when I took the first step the rabbit jumped up and ran like the wind. I tried to shoot it but missed. Wow that was weard, it did not even look hert when it ran off . A while later I saw another rabbit runing through the trees. I took a quick shot and it frozz. well I didnt wont to blow it away so I thought I butter scare it so it will run. I slowley walked folwerd and it still didnt move. I took a few more steps, now I'm right next to it nad it still didnt move, so I nuge it with the barill of the gun. Yep, it was dead. Leaned percareisley aginst a bush makeing it stand. There was one hole through the eye and out the other eye. As you can see, the rabbits cleaned up good. I throught thay tasted like turkey.

On Monday Patience and I Went fishing. We went to Seventeen Mile lake so that we could get get out of the wind. The fishing was slow but we did catch a few small fish. It was nice on the Lake the wind was calm. Patience was able to do some ice scateing and sleding

I went 17 mile Lake this weekend the weather was still clear and cold. I fished this lake with the thought that I Could drive out to were I was going to fish put the shanty up crak the heater and stay worm. The plan worked the only down side was after drilling three holes by hand then geting in the worm house I did not wont to change spots. I caught fish all day but no big ones, most in the 8 to 12 inch rang. If I moved morre I think I could have caught some bigger fish but I still have next week.
